Awards for Safety
Davis-Moore Collision Center was awarded the Certificate of Achievement for the Sharp Occupational Safety and Health Administration's (OSHA) Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program (SHARP).
Davis-Moore Collision Center is the only collision center in the state of Kansas to receive this award. They are now included as one of three companies to receive this award in Wichita. The Collision Center had to meet and/or exceed all of the criteria established by the OSHA in order to be considered for this certificate.
This criterion includes:
- Have a lost workday injury and illness rate (LWDII) and total recordable case rate (TRCR) below the national average for the respective company's industry
- Be a single, fixed worksite
- Be in operation for at least one year
- Have an effective, comprehensive safety and health management program
- Involve employees in the development, operation, and improvement of the workplace safety and health program
- Agree to a full service safety and health consultation by KDOL
- Agree to correct all hazards identified by KDOL
- Agree to an annual full service safety and health consultation by KDOL as a requirement for renewal of the SHARP
The Davis-Moore Collision Center has continued outstanding safety practices year after year and in doing Fender Bender so has earned a shiny reputation.
